I participated in Logo Life's Game Changers program, a program in which young teens like me were able to figure out our next steps towards creating a buisness with our passions. We discussed our intrests, explored different types of methods and venues to express our passions, discovered ways we could us our passions to create a meaningful impact on the world, and then figured out ways to create a successful business with it. The whole program was adventure themed, so we went through these steps as if we were progressing through a story. It was very entertaining and informative. Being able discuss our ideas and receive feedback from peers was helpful as well. I enjoyed listening to others talk about the things they were passionate about. I would definitely recommend the program for anyone stuck in a rut with what to do next. If you're struggling to figure out how to create a profitae business that you'll enjoy, Game Changers can help lead you in the right direction. Great entrepreneur program for kids and teens! Would definitely recommend :)

I think this was a very helpful course. I loved how they let everyone talk and left the chat open for conversation. I also thought it was really unique that they had mini break outs for everyone to brainstorm in small groups.

My 15yo son took the 3 day webinar last week and loved it! He is the kind of kid that only wants to have fun and not work. So for him to say this was "great" was monumental. I was able to occasionally listen in and really loved the information the instructors were imparting. I even learned things from this that I didn't know. It was refreshing to have someone else tell my son what I have been telling him for years. It was difficult to refrain from saying, "I told you so". Thank you for backing us up as parents!

My son (age 14 soon to be 15), just completed this course on the 6th and he absolutely loved it. He’s also enrolled and has begun the month-long course as well. The investment was by far one of the best uses of money spent all summer in addition to him getting new glasses 🤓. On the first night, my son told me the part of the discussion that stood out to him the most after his first session, he point out it was about growth mindset and how our attitudes towards challenges impact our outcomes. I knew he was listening and if it was simply that part alone, it was worth either way.

Coding is much more than just learning a technical skill; it plays a significant role in a child’s overall development. When children learn to code, they are not only understanding the language of technology, but they are also developing essential life skills that are crucial for their growth in today’s digital age.

  1. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Coding challenges children to think about problems logically and come up with creative solutions. By breaking down complex tasks into manageable parts, children learn to approach problems systematically and think critically.
  2. Creativity and Innovation: Coding is a creative process. As children learn to code, they experiment with new ideas, learn from trial and error, and innovate. This fosters a mindset of exploration and creativity, which is valuable in any future career path.
  3. Resilience and Perseverance: Learning to code involves dealing with errors and bugs. This teaches children resilience as they learn to troubleshoot and persist in the face of challenges, building their determination and grit.
  4. Mathematical and Logical Skills: Coding helps in reinforcing mathematical concepts as it involves logic, sequencing, and calculation, enhancing a child’s numerical and logical reasoning skills.
  5. Communication Skills: As coding requires clarity and precision, children learn to express their thoughts and ideas more effectively. This skill is crucial both in personal development and in professional environments.
  6. Attention to Detail: In coding, even a small mistake can change the outcome. This teaches children the importance of attention to detail, a skill that translates well into all areas of life.
  7. Self-confidence and Independence: As children create and see their code come to life, it boosts their self-confidence. Coding also encourages independent thinking and self-learning, as children explore and learn from their own experiences.
  8. Teamwork and Collaboration: Often, coding projects involve working in teams, teaching children the value of collaboration, and effective communication in achieving common goals.

By learning to code, children are not just preparing for a career in technology; they are acquiring skills that will help them navigate any path they choose in life. Our program focuses on harnessing these benefits to aid in the holistic development of every child enrolled.

Yes! We provide a growth plan that visualizes what your child will be learning, working on, and accomplishing in 6 month intervals. In addition to the growth plan, you’ll receive mentor notes on a month to month cadence so you can know how your child’s sessions are going. Some of the topics that are covered in the mentor notes are:

  • What did your child work on
  • What did your child do well
  • What are opportunities for improvement

This mostly depends on the prior experience and knowledge that the student has within the career path. We will have an assessment and a conversation to get a better idea on your teen’s knowledge, which path they want to take and be able to have a clearer answer on your call.

My son (newly 15) did the 6-week program and I thought it was very good for him. First of all, it gave him something to do this summer (no typical job due to COVID), and second, I think it made him think about things other than math, which is his favorite subject and thing to do! I also appreciated the one on one mentoring sessions in addition to the weekly group session.

I also liked that he had homework to do between sessions. I thought that he received a lot of attention from the LogoLife founders and instructors and that the info given to him to develop was detailed and effective, and tailored to his passions.

A productive and comprehensive teen entrepreneurship program.

LogoParent

The Logolife program is a truly inspiring and innovative way to teach today's teens the skills they will need to adjust in this changing world. As a single parent, my biggest concern has been to prepare my kiddos for the future, but what the future holds is anybody's guess.

When I found Logolife, I was so excited because it teaches kids to adapt to changes and to create their own path forward. I am especially impressed that they encourage kids not to be afraid of failure, but to accept that trial and error is a meaningful part of the process and that being gritty and tenacious can be even more important than having natural talent or ability.

While they learn to capitalize on their strengths, they are also encouraged to grow through their weaknesses and to use what they have to bring value into the world around them. All of us know that what our schools aren't able to prepare our kids for the future or to make them successful in life.

Education alone isn't the answer; the answer is the right education. I am so proud to encourage every parent to investigate Logolife as an option for their children.

If you start by attending the parent meeting I think you'll find that every point of their program is something today's teens need to not only hear, but embrace. It also helps that everyone associated with the program is completely professional, helpful, gracious and enthusiastic.

My daughter and I have had nothing but a positive and uplifting experience with Logolife. I give them my very highest recommendation!
